If you love LEGO building blocks you are going to love this Japanese Nanoblock micro building block set I’m going to talk about. I just wrote previously about the 2-in-1 LEGO Jet Pane set and this is something similar to that too. Its about the Nanoblock Space Shuttle micro building block set.
Once you complete making this mini block space shuttle it will fit in the palm of your hand. Its so small. Measures only 5.5 inches high! (Its full dimensions are 5.5 x 1.1 x 5.5 inches). That makes it a perfect model to build and display as a work of art in a office table or showcase in your family room and wow your guests and friends!
This 3D work of art is recommended for kids aged 8-15 years. But that is no restriction for adults who enjoy building blocks! The blocks are “REALLY” small. You don’t actually need tweezers to build the unit, but you should have plenty of room. Luckily, like all Lego kits, this one has extra bricks. But the number and type of bricks you have extras are unknown, so I’d keep good care of them while building. The 8+ warning on the package is no joke. This should be kept away from small children and pets.
This is a model, and should be treated as such. While some of the building design elements are pretty ingenious, it makes the model fragile. the tips of the wings on the shuttle have a tendancy to come off, and the solid rocket boosters are only attached at one point to the external tank. This helps the asthetic, as the mounting points are hidden by the shuttle wings, but makes the whole shuttle/external tank assembly pretty unstable until it is connected to the launch pad.
This nanoblock space shuttle set contains 580 pieces, and has instructions like all other Nano sets on one page and in only a hand full of steps for each part of the build. You get color-detailed instructions to help you with the assorted sizes and colored pieces. This is one set that is sure to increase your
patience and logical thinking!
